We undertake projects, comprising systems for order picking, packing and diverting to different lanes for order collation and despatch.
This generally involves up to 5 different types of conveyor systems being integrated together to make one system.
Conveyor is PLC controlled, complete with all sensors, bar code scanners (or photo readers), safety systems, control systems and diverters (where product is diverted to separate areas for consolidation, or because of freight destination etc).
This system can be installed independent of the warehouse management system, and is designed, wired, installed and commissioned as a stand alone complete package.
Always remember – the available space, because of the building shape, size, access doors etc, will always compromise the area allocated for storage, the varying methods of order pick, inwards goods, despatch and processing areas.
